Alexa Bliss Expresses Excitement About Trio With Herself, Tatum Paxley & Charlotte Flair

Alexa Bliss is excited about the pairing.
There is a new trio on Friday Night SmackDown, and it consists of Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair and former NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley.
Bliss appeared on Busted Open and expressed her excitement about the trio.
“This will be my first Sunday Night’s Main Event and this will be my first time having a match with Tatum (Paxley) which I’m really excited about because she has a lot of fun character things to bring to the ring and I’m really excited about that. I’m excited to see our dynamic and how it works with me, Charlotte (Flair) and Tatum because we’ve seen the journey of me and Charlotte; we’ve seen how long it’s taken her to open up, especially to open up to new people. So I’m excited to see that dynamic and how it plays off, and I’m finally excited for B-Fab, Michin and (Jade Cargill) to kind of get their butts handed to them finally because they’ve been talking a lot of game, they’ve been beating up a lot of people and it’s time that someone calls them out, gets their number.”
Bliss went on to speak about how the relationship with Paxley began. She added that one thing she learned from the late Windham Rotunda a.k.a. Bray Wyatt is that you have to immerse yourself in your character. Bliss said she sees Paxley doing just that.
“So we first met in NXT. Charlotte (Flair) and I went to NXT and did a match at NXT Homecoming, and we had a match against Tatum (Paxley) and Izzi (Dame), and it was a lot of fun. There was a lot of similarities between Izzi and Charlotte and Tatum and myself and it was really cool to see, and I found out after the fact that Tatum watched me growing up,” Bliss laughed. “Now we’re at the (stage) where people are like, ‘Oh, I watched you growing up.’ I’m like, ‘Great!’ But, she had a lot of inspiration from my character and that was really cool to see and working together with her was really cool across from the ring and I think it opens a lot more opportunities now that we’re gonna be on the same side of the ring, partnering together. Maybe I’ll bring out new parts of her character, she’ll bring new parts of mine, maybe even Charlotte and I’m really excited about that because she’s super talented and it’s fun to see a character, again, come up on the main roster because I love seeing people who are so into their characters because that was one of the things that I learned from Bray (Wyatt) was you have to immerse yourself in your character and to see that in Tatum, I’m really excited to explore that.”
At Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6th, Bliss, Paxley and Flair will be taking on Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin.
