Anthony Bowens Says He’s ‘Going To Mollywop’ Every Person In AEW’s PR Department If He Doesn’t Feature At AEW Brawl In The Ballpark

Anthony Bowens discusses the upcoming AEW ‘Brawl In The Ballpark’ event alongside the Minnesota Twins.

AEW and the Twins are set to collaborate on July 10th for ‘Brawl in the Ballpark,’ a post-game event featuring AEW and ROH stars. One AEW name who is a big fan of baseball and previously played baseball is The Opps’ Anthony Bowens.

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez in a new interview, Anthony Bowens was asked about the upcoming event, noting he plans to ‘mollywop’ the entire AEW PR department if he doesn’t feature at the event.

“You better believe my first text went to our PR department and said, ‘if you don’t get me on that field, I’m going to mollywop every single person in the department’ because I think I could do something really fun. I’ve been dying for outside of pro wrestling stuff. Like obviously I’m living the dream, but my other dream was playing baseball and I could have- I know I could have made a dent in the minor leagues. Who knows if I ever would have made it to the major leagues, but I’m very talented at it, and I think it’s a really cool opportunity to do some cross promotion, cross branding and everything. Tell the Minnesota Twins right now, sign me for a day. Obviously, I can’t play in the game. That’s a little unrealistic. But, hey, let me warm up with the team. Let me take some batting practice. Let me show you what the former 5 tool player is all about, what the Pride of Pro Wrestling is all about. So hopefully that will come to fruition, and then I’ll go beat some people up in the ring later on. But there’s a lot to look forward to, and I’m going to try and conjure up as much of it as I can.”
