Anthony Bowens Wants AEW To Do A Series Of Ballpark Shows For MLB

Anthony Bowens pushes for more crossover in AEW.
On Friday, July 10, AEW will host their Brawl In The Ballpark event following the conclusion of the Twins vs. Angels game at Target Field in Minnesota. Access to the show is free with a ticket to the MLB game.
Speaking with Battleground for a new interview, Anthony Bowens was asked if he wants to see AEW do more crossover work with sports leagues.
“I mean absolutely, why not? We had All In at Globe Life Field in Texas. To bring an event that size to a stadium like that — we’re having Brawl At The Ballpark here in Minnesota, why can’t we do a whole series of ballpark shows for the MLB? NBA and NFL, we’re already there with the arenas and such, but I think it’s awesome that we get to do things outside of just a standard arena, the cookie cutter arenas that we go to. I love that AEW likes to do shows and present unique sets and unique buildings like the one we’ll do in Clearwater next week. I think it’s super cool, it adds a different perspective and a unique visual for the fans to get invested in. It’s always cool and I think the more we can bring AEW to other mainstream sports, it’s just going to continue to grow the product.”
