The Ring Of Honor Women’s World Champion would capture the title at Ring Of Honor Final Battle 2022 in December of that year, dethroning Mercedes Martinez as champion. Since capturing the championship three and a half years ago, she has successfully defended the title a total of 37 times across five different promotions. During her reign, she has defended against the likes of Willow Nightingale, Persephone, Billie Starkz and many more.
On July 19th, Athena would break a modern day record, with her Ring Of Honor Women’s World Championship reign that is now at 1,317 days now surpassing Roman’s WWE Universal Title reign that lasted 1,317 days.

For comparison, Reigns would successfully defend his championship 31 times across his reign before losing the title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 in a Bloodline Rules match, defending against the likes of Randy Orton, Matt Riddle, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso and more.
