Becky Lynch Says She Used To Fight WWE Creative Ideas, Now She Figures Out How To Make Anything Work

Lynch states that she figures out how to make it work.

Three-time WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch chatted with Stephanie McMahon for a recording of McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast.

One of the subjects they touched on was the creative Lynch has been presented with. She remembers being younger and fighting creative ideas. She said she no longer does that. She added that she takes what is presented and figures out how to make it work.

“I know I’ve proved myself enough, and I’m at the point in my career where I’m immensely confident in my ability, and in, ‘What do you want me to do? Okay. Yeah, whatever.’ If I agree with it or I don’t agree with it — and sometimes, I’ll be like, ‘That’s great. That’s amazing.’ Sometimes I’ll disagree… And then, I think when I was younger, I would have fought it a lot more — both maybe actually fought it with creative, and then fought it mostly with my head and thinking, ah, this is stupid, you know? Now I just go, ‘Heh, I’ll just make it work.’”

Lynch’s latest reign as WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion came to an end at the Clash in Italy Premium Live Event, where she lost to Sol Ruca.
