Becky Lynch States That Nia Jax Felt Terrible About Breaking Her Nose: “It Was The Best Thing That Could Have Ever Happened To Me At That Time”

Becky Lynch looks back at the moment that sent her to the next level.

As Becky Lynch was guest appearing on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and T.J. Jefferson, she spoke about the moment in November 2018 when she was struck in the face by Nia Jax and it led to Lynch reaching the next level in WWE.

Lynch reflected on the injury and said that momentum would have never went the direction it did without Jax.

“I have no recollection,” Lynch laughed as she reflected on broken nose injury in 2018. “I have little bits of a recollection. But none of that was my doing. That was all Nia (Jax). Thanks Nia.” Lynch continued, “No, really, honest to God. It’s one of those things, like, you never plan these things but it’s fate, destiny. If that didn’t happen, maybe I don’t — if that doesn’t happen, I don’t get to the main event of WrestleMania, honestly, and that’s all thanks to Nia and of course she felt terrible about it. But it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me at that time, you know? So, thanks,” she laughed.

Lynch is now a seven-time WWE Women’s Champion.
