Beth Copeland/Phoenix Assists Adam Copeland & Christian Cage In Becoming AEW World Tag Team Champions At Double Or Nothing

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage receive an assist from Beth Copeland (Phoenix) to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Starting the main card of All Elite Wrestling’s 2026 Double or Nothing pay-per-view was an I Quit match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) put the titles on the line against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. The stipulation was that if Copeland and Cage lost, they had to disband as a duo.
There was a point in the bout when FTR had Cage’s hand against the ring steps, and Wheeler brought over a cinderblock to use on Cage’s hand. Cage ended up moving his hand out of the way. FTR then put Cage’s hand between the cinderblock, and Harwood took a chair and repeatedly smashed it against the cinderblock.
Cage was asked if he wanted to quit, but he responded by saying he banged Harwood’s mom, and the crowd in attendance repeated the response.
When FTR’s manager Big Stoke got involved, Copeland’s wife, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Copeland/Phoenix, showed up. It was back in August 2025 at All Out Toronto that Beth appeared during the Cage and Copeland versus FTR match to offset Stoke. After Copeland and Cage won that match, FTR hit Beth with a spike piledriver.
At Double or Nothing, FTR and Stoke set Beth up to be put through a flaming table, but she avoided it, and Wheeler and Stoke ended up going through the table.
The backend of the bout saw Copeland and Cage put Harwood in a double submission, but he would not quit, so Copeland instructed Beth to get his signature 2×4 with spikes lodged into it. Copeland used that on Harwood, and he finally gave up.
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage are the new AEW World Tag Team Champions.
