Beyond Wrestling Says MJF Hyperextended His Knee On 6/3 AEW Dynamite, Is Not Medically Cleared To Compete Or Travel

MJF is dealing with a knee injury.
Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off with a bout for the AEW World Championship, as MJF defended the title against RUSH. Despite retaining his belt, it appears that Friedman didn’t emerge unscathed.
Beyond Wrestling took to social media on Thursday morning to reveal that MJF hyperextended his knee during his bout with RUSH. With the injury, Friedman is not medically cleared to travel or compete.
Before the injury, the AEW World Champion was set to take on Bobby Orlando at Beyond’s Break The Walls Down event on June 5.
Unfortunately @The_MJF hyperextended his knee during his match last night & is not medically cleared to travel or compete. He will not be in Cranston tomorrow night but assured me he will wrestle for Beyond Wrestling as soon as his schedule allows. We wish him a speedy recovery.
