Big Cass responds to a recent negative report of how WWE sees him, noting he will do whatever WWE needs from him during this run.

Cass returned to WWE earlier this year, and has since been a staple of WWE Monday Night RAW, becoming a foil for babyfaces like Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio. However, his win/loss record has drawn speculation of how the company sees Cass internally.

While speaking to The Sal Licata Show in a new interview, Big Cass spoke about recent speculation that WWE don’t see much for him in the future, noting that he will do whatever WWE needs from him in this run.

“It’s funny. I just talked to Hunter about all this the other day. Just what you’re talking about, the dirt sheets and everything. I’m coming back with the attitude of I’m here to do business. I fell short of my own expectations as a professional the first time. I’m coming back to do business. I’m coming back to do things right. Whatever the company needs is what they’re going to get out of me. Whether the company needs me to come out first every night and open the show, that’s what they’re going to get 100% of. If they need me to close the show, they’re going to get 100%. If they need me to do the popcorn match, they’re going to get 100%. I’m there to do the best that I can with what they’re giving me and what they see in me. So whatever the dirt sheets want to say and important dirt sheet writers or that don’t work in the company have to say, their opinions their opinion. Everyone’s always looking for a story and negative sells, positive never sells. You know, you’re always going to want to read about someone messing up over someone doing something really great. So the negativity sells and I’m sure it gets clicks. So, I’m there to do the best that I can with what I’m giving him the up, what Hunter’s position he’s putting me in, and we’ll see where that goes. I’m here for the ride, baby. I’m here to take this ride, do things right this time, put my head down, work hard, and do the best that I can with what I’m given and what’s expected of me. We’ll see where things go.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Cass spoke about feeling better than he ever has in multiple aspects. You can read more about that here.
