Brian Cage Would Like To Participate In 2026 AEW Continental Classic

Brian Cage is aiming to compete in the Continental Classic.

There’s an interview with Brian Cage that was pushed out by Chris Van Vliet. As Cage was speaking about what he was looking to accomplish going forward in AEW, he mentioned competing in the 2026 Continental Classic tournament.

“Oh, of course. I guess even then, well, we have so many titles there. I mean, I’ll take whatever I can get. What I do really want to be part of this year, for sure, is the Continental Classic. Obviously, that’s not until the end of the year, but that’s something I definitely want to. I would love to build up enough repertoire to have an awesome Continental Classic run by the end of the year.”

Cage returned to AEW in April 2026 after having been away since early 2025. He underwent multiple surgeries.
