C4 Wrestling Running Final Event At Preston Event Center On November 27
C4 Wrestling is set to leave the Preston Event Center.
On Monday, C4 announced that they will hold their final event at the Preston Event Center in Ottawa on November 27. The event will be their 19th anniversary show.
The promotion is not closing.

In November 2007, C*4 Wrestling was born.
At the time, Ottawa wasn’t exactly known as a hotbed for independent professional wrestling. Over the years, the region has seen its share of promotions come and go. Some found success, but very few managed to sustain it. Many were one-off events, short-lived organizations, or groups that simply burned themselves out.
When I launched C*4, my goal was simple: to bring Ottawa the best independent professional wrestling possible. It wasn’t about perceived star power.
It wasn’t about superficial appearances, outdated beliefs, or an old boys club deciding what professional wrestling in this city should look like.
It was about giving talented people opportunities. Allowing wrestlers to face opponents they might never otherwise have the chance to work with. Building relationships with the larger independent wrestling world. Giving local talent a platform where their work could be seen beyond Ottawa, rather than having their opportunities begin and end here.
There were people who doubted us. There were people who wanted us to fail. But here we are.
Nearly twenty years later, we’re still standing.
We made our own path. And if it all ended tomorrow, I think most would agree that C*4 has left a lasting mark, not just on professional wrestling in Ottawa, but on Canadian independent wrestling as a whole.
Of course, it hasn’t always been easy.
Over the years, we’ve faced countless challenges. Some bigger than others. But we’ve always found a way forward.
And now, as we prepare to enter our twentieth year, we’re facing another massive challenge.
For a long time, we’ve been looking ahead to 2027 as a year of celebration. Twenty years of C*4 is something I never could have imagined when we started, and we ve been working toward making it something truly special.
Unfortunately, a few months ago, we received news that completely changed those plans. Almost overnight, we went from planning how to celebrate our twentieth year to figuring out how to survive it.
On November 27th, C*4 Wrestling will celebrate our 19th anniversary. It will also be our final event at the Preston Event Centre.
After nine years, we will be saying goodbye to a building that has become synonymous with C*4 Wrestling.
This wasn’t our decision. Due to circumstances beyond our control, continuing at Preston is simply no longer possible.
That said, we understand the circumstances surrounding the situation, and we have nothing but appreciation for the years we’ve spent there. Some of the greatest nights in C*4 history happened inside those walls, and we’ll always look back on our time there fondly.
