Crowley is an independent wrestler who also has a career in acting, recently appearing in Star Wars: Galactic Racer, the latest video game in the Star Wars franchise, voicing Biddy Blass, a fan favorite character since the games release.
While speaking to Soundsphere Magazine in a new interview, Charles Crowley discussed the role, noting that he could tell Biddy would be popular early on.
“I could tell Biddy Blas was gonna be popular early on,” he admitted. “Then I woke up next day and he’d blown up a bit, and then next day it kind of dawned on me that this isn’t normal.”
Crowley noted the description he was given of the character, as well as how the performance was tough on his vocal chords.
“They were like, ‘A small man that’s a bit on edge, anxious, and overcompensates’ or something like that,” he said “Something along those lines. It was tough on the vocal chords, I always left the booth sweating, dripping in sweat, but satisfied because I think we all agreed that we’d created a really special character.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Charles spoke about wanting to be signed by a major company in the world of wrestling. You can read more about that here.
