Chris Sabin Says The Motor City Machine Guns Being The First Team To Win Tag Titles In AEW, NJPW, TNA And WWE Would Be A ‘Pretty Cool Accomplishment’

Chris Sabin speaks on the Motor City Machine Guns potentially being the first ever team to hold titles across the major companies in wrestling.

The Motor City Machine Guns are one of the most influential tag teams in the past two decades within the world of professional wrestling. The pair have also wrestled across several companies, and have held tag titles in TNA, WWE and NJPW. Now, the pair have a goal in becoming the first team to hold those titles as well as the AEW World Tag Titles.

While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm in a new interview, Chris Sabin was asked about the goal of becoming the AEW World Tag Team Champions, noting that capturing the titles as well as their previous reigns in other companies would be ‘a pretty cool accomplishment.’

“Absolutely. That’s 100% the goal, and you know, if we do win that championship, we’ll be the first team to win titles in AEW, New Japan Pro Wrestling, TNA, AEW and WWE. So, hey, that’s a pretty cool accomplishment.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Sabin spoke about AEW having the greatest tag division in ‘the history of wrestling.’ You can read more about that here.
