CM Punk: I’m In My Marlon Brando Stage Of Being A Professional Wrestler

CM Punk is channeling Marlon Brando.

If you have any knowledge of Brando, you know that the legendary actor was known for operating in a different zone on set. Instead of memorizing his lines, Brando preferred to read his dialogue for the first time on camera.

On a new episode of Hot Ones: Extra Heat, Punk was asked if wrestlers rub against each other if they have a different approach to wrestling.

“Absolutely and I’m probably number one on everybody’s list. I’m very much in my Marlon Brando stage of being a professional wrestler where I would much rather hide from somebody before a match and not talk about it.”

Continuing on, Punk said that butting heads with an opponent can help with the magic of wrestling.

“You can butt heads with an opponent. The magic of pro wrestling is that sometimes, that helps. You won’t know until you’re in the ring.”

Elsewhere in the interview, CM Punk spoke about still battling vertigo after a skull injury in 2002. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
