CM Punk Return, Women’s Tag Team Title Bout Set For 10/9 WWE SmackDown
A Women’s Tag Team Title match, as well as a CM Punk return, has been announced for next week’s WWE SmackDown.
On 10/2 WWE SmackDown, fans saw a backstage segment involving Tatum Paxley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss.
Paxley was upset about losing her Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying match. Charlotte then informed Tatum that she and Alexa talked to Nick Aldis, who granted them a Women’s Tag Team Championship match against Fatal Influence next week. It’ll be Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley teaming up once again.
Charlotte and Tatum last wrestled Fatal Influence on the September 4 edition of WWE SmackDown, where they lost.
Later in the night, a CM Punk appearance was also advertised for next week.
Here’s the current lineup for the show:
WWE SmackDown (10/9)
- CM Punk returns
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid) (c) vs. Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley
Fightful will keep fans updated as more segments and matches are added to the show.
