Dominik Mysterio Challenging El Grande Americano For AAA Mega Title At Héroes Inmortales

Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano are running it back.
Starting the live episode of Lucha Libre AAA on FOX on October 23rd was the new AAA Mega Champion, El Grande Americano. He was interrupted by the trio known as El Ojo: Dorian Roldán, Omos, and former Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio.
Roldán stated that his issue is with AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio. Rey came out, and Roldán explained that his gripe with Rey is that Rey was not the assigned referee for Dominik and Americano’s main event match at Triplemanía 34, but he made the count to officially crown El Grande as the new champion. He wanted the decision reversed.
Americano would go on to issue a challenge for the main event. He proposed a match that would see him and Rey versus Omos and Dominik. If El Ojo won, Dominik would get a rematch for the title at Héroes Inmortales on October 24th, but if that team lost, Dominik would never be able to challenge for the Mega Title again as long as Americano is champion. He agreed to the stipulations.
The backend of the bout saw Dominik unmask Rey and then hit El Grande with the Mega Championship. Dominik went on to pin Americano to secure himself a title match at the forthcoming event.
Below is the updated lineup for Héroes Inmortales:
- AAA Mega Championship: El Grande Americano (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio (w/ Dorian Roldán & Omos)
- AAA World Trios Championship: Perros del Mal (Daga, Angel & Berto) (c) vs. Niño Hamburguesa, La Parka & Mr. Igauna
- AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Fenix (c) vs. TBD
