Drew McIntyre Says He’s Focused On ‘Hollywood Drew,’ But He’s Always Ready To Return To The Ring
Drew McIntyre states that he’s focused on his acting ventures.
Multi-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has added more film projects to his acting résumé. He has been cast in The Last Druid, Highlander, Disney’s animated movie ‘Hexed,’ and, in 2024, he was in The Killer’s Game alongside Dave Bautista.
McIntyre last wrestled at WrestleMania 42 in April, and while speaking to OutKick, he was asked when he’s coming back to the ring and said the following:
“We’ll see. You know, I’m as big as I’ve ever been. I’m 285 right now. I’m 10 pounds bigger than I was for Agent of Shadows. I’m in the best shape of my life. I posted myself running the ropes the other day, you know? Keep myself in ring shape. I’m always ready to go. I think it got like over eight million views just bouncing off the ropes a few times — across my social media platforms — but right now, I’m focused on ‘Hollywood Drew.’ So, we’ll see. We will see. I’m not giving anything away.”
McIntyre’s third reign as WWE Champion began in January 2026 when he defeated Cody Rhodes. He lost the belt to Rhodes two months later.
