Drew McIntyre Wants To Beat Roman Reigns Once He Returns To WWE, Says He May Have To Bring The Sword Back Because ‘Roman’s Got 95 Family Members’

Drew McIntyre wants to beat Roman Reigns once he returns to WWE.

Since WrestleMania 42, Drew McIntyre has been away from WWE programming due to his acting projects. McIntyre has assured fans that he will eventually return to the company, but hasn’t provided any specifics yet.

Speaking on Going Ringside, McIntyre was asked if he wants to see guys he’s had problems with in WWE upon his return, namely CM Punk and Roman Reigns.

“I’ll slap them around once I get back. I’m sure Punk will like to be like, ‘Hey, I did some stuff too. I’m like, ‘What? Where would I even see your stuff.’ I don’t know, I’d have to search real hard. Roman’s got the Street Fighter out right now so he’s doing some big things. But I think I’ll eclipse him in that area. Then I gotta beat Roman because I’ve never beat him. One of the things, I’ve got these swords here so if it comes to–Because Roman’s got 95 family members, I may have to bring the sword back. I can’t say I had the sword in WWE for years, I never used it. Shockingly so, PG product. But Agent of Shadows, I’m telling you right now, I finally used the sword.”
