Drew McIntyre speaks about getting involved in a horror-based project in the future, noting he would like to be the protagonist.
As of late, McIntyre has been off WWE television due to the fact he has been filming several acting projects, both with WWE and without, and has now named a type of project he would like to feature in in the future.
While speaking to Sidewalks Entertainment in a new interview, Drew McIntyre was asked what kind of project he wants to take on in the future, noting he would like to be in a horror movie.
“Nothing particular in mind. Something horror-based, maybe. But I’m just going to take it as it comes. I just have no limitations right now. It’s just let’s see what the future holds in my wrestling career and otherwise.”
Drew was then asked if he would rather be a horror antagonist or protagonist.
“I try and think outside the box. Obviously, if it was a character, like a bad guy, that’d be obviously fun and expected, perhaps. But if I was in some kind of situation, as a massive, massive human at 6’5, 285, and constantly in terror and fear, and maybe more the smaller person is the brave one. Like that sounds more fun and interesting to me. Like, again, I’m just looking at it like what’s the funnest thing and what’s something people aren’t going to expect.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, McIntyre spoke about meeting Robert Downey Jr. and Sam Jones. You can read more about that here.
