There was a new Highspots Sign-It-Live session with Eddie Kingston as the featured guest. Former AEW talent and current WWE talent Cody Rhodes’ name came up.
Kingston stated that Rhodes is such a polarizing figure now, and he knows the current Undisputed WWE Champion as the person he fought to get his job at AEW.
“He’s such a polarizing figure, you know what I mean? And I just know him as the dude that I fought to get my job.”
During the summer of 2020, Rhodes hosted an open challenge for the TNT Championship on Dynamite. One of the names to answer the call was Eddie Kingston, and that bout led to Kingston being signed to AEW, where he remains under contract to this day.
