While pro wrestling locker rooms of the modern era are largely all working in a combined effort, it has been something that has slowly creeped up on the industry, as politics and other reasons usually left talent clashing backstage in the Attitude Era and beyond. For one WWE superstar, he thinks it is safe to say it is safer to trust people nowadays.
While speaking to TMZ Sports in a recent interview, Ethan Page was asked about trusting people backstage, noting that it is probably safer to trust them than it was ‘back in the day.’
“I think trusting people now is probably safer than back in the day. More people are a lot softer now. Yeah, for sure. Oh, my God. What? Wrestlers get upset when fans tweet them. They’re responding. What are you responding to fans for? What the hell? Why don’t you respond to the ones that compliment you? Only the ones that hurt your feelings, that tell you the truth, are you giving them attention?”
