Harley Cameron almost locked down a lead role.
Taking to her Instagram page in a now-deleted post, former AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion Harley Cameron revealed that she was nearly cast in a lead role for the horror film ‘Obession,’ which was released in the U.S.A. in May 2026.
Cameron noted that apparently, it came down to her and actress Inde Navarrette, who plays the role of Nikki Freeman in the movie.
“Cat is out of the bag – I auditioned for obsession and was told it nearly was me who got cast , I wanted to share my passionate audition and thank @curry.barker for the opportunity and of course congratulations to @indenavarrette – apparently it came down to us two and I am honored 🙏

Below is the plot for Obession:
“Obsession is a 2025 American supernatural psychological horror film written, directed, and edited by Curry Barker. The film follows Bear (Michael Johnston), a music store employee who buys a supernatural toy that grants his wish for his friend Nikki (Inde Navarrette) to fall in love with him, resulting in horrifying consequences.”
Cameron was one-half of the first-ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions with Willow Nightingale as the Babes of Wrath.
