Hiroshi Tanahashi interrupts the confrontation between Shoto Umino and Jon Moxley.
Some time back, The Death Riders’ Pac challenged NJPW’s Shoto Umino for the IGWP Global Heavyweight Championship. Shoto accepted Pac’s challenge, and the bout was made official for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Shoto delivered some hard-hitting moves to Pac throughout this match. Towards the end, Shoto delivered a Northern Lights Bomb to Pac for the victory.

After the match ended, Jon Moxley entered the ring to confront Shoto. Moxley and Shoto have previously worked in NJPW, where they had a mentor-protege relationship. Before things could escalate between these two, Hiroshi Tanahashi appeared, and Moxley left the ring.
