Indi Hartwell Explains Why She Hasn’t Been Consistent With Her YouTube Channel

Indi Hartwell explains why she hasn’t been active on YouTube.
Many wrestlers are highly active on social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. Indi Hartwell has a YouTube channel too, but she was inactive for months before posting another video recently.
Speaking with Studio 1 Sports Channel, Hartwell said that she lost motivation as a YouTube content creator while trying to find her groove.
“Look at you calling me out. I mean, the past two months, I think I haven’t uploaded a video because I’ve been focusing on other things. It’s a true thing in this business, in any business, really you lose motivation. That’s something that I really have to step it up. I’m trying to figure out what do people want to see from me. People want to see a whole bunch of things. I like doing gym videos, but I don’t think my audience really wants that. They want to see me live my everyday life. They want to see me traveling to wrestling shows. They want to see me backstage at a wrestling show. They want to see my raw thoughts right after coming back from a wrestling match. Sometimes, having to bring the camera out takes away from the moment. It’s like a transition again, like in TNA, I’m just trying to get used to it. I’m still trying to find my groove with YouTube, but it’s been really fun.”
Hartwell says she wanted to create a YouTube channel to connect with her fans directly.
“I thought, before I got released from WWE, I really did want to start a YouTube channel. Then when I got released, I thought, ‘Well, this is the perfect opportunity.’ I bought the camera, and it was a really good way to connect with my supporters, kind of directly, not really. It’s not like I’m live streaming and getting to talk to them live. But I’m posting these personal videos in my house and they’re commenting. I comment back to everyone because I want them to see a real side of me. When you’re wrestling on TV, you may get five minutes or 10 minutes. So people don’t really get to see you. They get to see the character… Whatever needs to be done for that show, that’s what they see. They don’t get to see your real personality. So that was my main goal with it. I just got to keep at it.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Hartwell says she’s still getting used to the level of creative freedom she has in TNA. Fans can read her comments here.
