Jake Roberts: ‘Tony Khan Needs To Loosen Up The Reins A Little Bit And Take Some Advice,’ Believes His Talent Can Be Used Better
Jake Roberts comments on Tony Khan.
Jake Roberts confirmed his departure from All Elite Wrestling in July 2026. He made his official debut for the company in 2020 in the lead-up to Lance Archer’s arrival in the promotion.
Speaking with Nick Teodoro on the Nick Club Wrestling Happy Hour, Roberts was asked about the difference between working for WWE and AEW. During the conversation, he also shared his thoughts on Tony Khan.
“There’s a lot of differences. Creative number one, no doubt. Tony Khan needs to loosen up the reins a little bit and take some advice. He’s got a good product. He’s got a lot of talent there. I think his talent can be used better. Just my own thoughts. I loved working for Tony Khan. They’ll wish you nothing but the best. He’s a sweet guy.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Roberts said that he has re-signed with WWE. Fans can read more about it here.
