Tenshin Nasukawa will no longer be in action.
TEAM TENSHIN, the organization that supports former MMA fighter, kickboxer, and current boxer Tenshin Nasukawa, is holding a festival on October 31st at Matsudo Central Park in Chiba, Japan.
A collaboration with DDT Pro-Wrestling was advertised, and it would feature Nasukawa competing in ‘street pro wrestling.’ He was set to team with three-time KO-D Openweight Champion Yuki Ueno and Shinya Aoki in a six-man tag team match.
As the news began to spread, the Japan Boxing Commission issued a statement, and it was announced that Nasukawa would no longer be competing on the show. Their regulations prevent pro boxers from participating in other combat sports, matches, or events.
