Joe Gacy Shares That Wyatt Sicks Learned About WWE Tag Title Win 10 Minutes Before Match Time

10 minutes before match time, the Wyatt Sicks learned about their Tag Title win.

Back in the summer of 2025, the Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis) defeated The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

Gacy is making the media rounds now that he and the remainder of the Wyatt Sicks are no longer with WWE and are officially free agents.

He was interviewed by Chris Van Vliet and was asked about the title victory. He shared that they learned they were winning the belts 10 minutes before match time.

“Like 10 minutes before the match,” Gacy said about when Wyatt Sicks learned they were winning the titles. “I love Nashville. The crowd there’s great. So that was part of the day. I guess creative was trying to figure out what the ending was because maybe they didn’t fully decide we were going over yet. I don’t really know, but yeah, it was us and Street Profits. We had the match put together; it’s almost time, and we still don’t know what the finish is. We’re just like, ‘Okay.’ Then the producer came in and was like, ‘Alright, this is what we’re doing.’ So then we had to hurry up and get the finish together… in that time is when we basically found out, like, oh, we’re about to win the Tag Titles.”

Gacy is now going by Joseph Sawyer. He’s made multiple independent appearances since this writing.
