Johnny Gargano Finally Gets Up On 9/4 WWE SmackDown
Johnny Gargano finally gets up.
He had been lying down backstage for several months now. Despite numerous attempts from other wrestlers, Gargano didn’t stand up. That was until he got offered a WWE Championship match.
On this week’s WWE SmackDown (September 4), Nick Aldis talked to CM Punk backstage about the next challenger for his WWE Championship. The Cult of Personality found Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae in the same area, and he offered Gargano a title match.

Initially, Gargano didn’t get up, and Punk said at least he tried. But right then, the camera shifted back to Gargano, who was now standing up. WWE then confirmed the match between the two for later tonight.
