Judas Icarus Reflects On Being Part Of Northern Armory In TNA, Transitioning From Josh Alexander To Eric Young

Judas Icarus looks back on the run with the group.

Guest appearing on In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert and Sid Pullar III were the duo known as Sinner and Saint (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams).

Icarus was asked about his and Williams’ time in TNA Wrestling as members of The Northern Armory. He spoke about being part of the group with Josh Alexander, and then, when Alexander departed TNA, Eric Young took over the group.

“It was very different. I think it was an adjustment period, because I felt like we hadn’t completely settled in even with what we were doing with Josh I think at the time too. I think we were still figuring things out as a faction or somebody that works together would. Just figuring out stuff that makes sense and all that and yeah, I think we got maybe a six-month stint maybe with Josh, and then, yeah, we got probably just over a year with E.Y., which was insanely important. But I think with E.Y., at least we kind of got more of an ability to kind of expand on ideas and ways in which we wanted to present ourselves, which I felt made it easier to at least show the audience and show TNA what we had and what we could give to them. But yeah, I think the switchup did make it difficult, especially because they both wanted completely different ideas of a team… Again, obviously, working with both of those guys, it was insanely easy to think of ideas and ways to present ourselves. Josh and E.Y. are both just such main figures and kind of grooving around what they want and how they want to present themselves I think was easy at times but then also… sometimes was difficult too.”

Sinner and Saint are back on the independent scene full-time. Over the summer, they requested their release from TNA.
