Kenny Omega Says His AEW Double Or Nothing Cigar Tasted Like Tree Sap, Never Smoked Before In His Life

Kenny Omega talks about his segment of the AEW Double Or Nothing Stadium Stampede entrances in which he smoked a cigar.

At AEW Double Or Nothing this past weekend, both teams would feature in special entrance videos where they both teams would arrive to the arena for the bout. While the heels all arrived in their respective vehicles for the match, the babyfaces on team Jericho would arrive in style in their suits, with Kenny Omega showing up smoking a cigar.. and having a coughing fit.

In the latest episode of Being The Elite, Brandon Cutler would ask Kenny Omega about the cigar smoking part of the entrance, with Kenny noting that the cigar itself tasted like ‘tree sap’.

Brandon Cutler: “How does it (the cigar) taste?”

Kenny Omega: “Like tree sap!”

Brandon Cutler: “Kenny has never had a cigar in his life.”

Kenny Omega: “A cigar, a smoke, a joint, whatever you want to call it. Look, it’s about my image. I was trying to clean up my image and look real cool to everyone, and now I’m the coolest kid in town. Did I light this myself? No. Did I prep this myself? No. Do I know how to smoke it? No.”

Kenny also would reference Cody Rhodes’ love of cigars when he was a part of The Elite.

“We once had a member of The Elite that was all about cigars. I just feel like there’s a hole in my heart, you know right we gotta fill this thing.”
