Kevin Nash Views The Undertaker’s Comments About The Curtain Call As Jealousy

Kevin Nash responds to Undertaker.

On his Six Feet Under podcast, WWE Hall of Fame The Undertaker shared his thoughts about the ‘Curtain Call’ that was done by Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in 1996 where the real-life friends broke character to celebrate with each other before Nash and Hall left the WWF to join WCW.

Undertaker said it’s probably a good thing that he was not present for it. It went against everything he believes about the wrestling business, especially at that time. He added that it was selfish, but then defended Levesque, Michaels, Hall and Nash by saying he understands the friendship aspect. Still, Undertaker feels they put themselves before the business.

Nash responded to Undertaker on his Kliq This podcast and said he views what was said as jealousy.

“It wasn’t even during the internet era… Even for Mark (Calaway) to say it was a selfish move, we went and asked Vince (McMahon). It wasn’t selfish. It wasn’t to get ourselves over. I didn’t kip up and not sell the superkick. If you really watch it, and watched it for what it’s worth, it’s like, I take it more as jealousy that you didn’t do it… It became what the business became.”

Present day, The Undertaker is the head booker for AAA, Levesque is heading up the WWE main roster shows, and Michaels is running NXT.
