At WWE Night of Champions 2026, Oba Femi faced Jey Uso in the King of the Ring tournament finals. In the end, Oba emerged victorious.

On commentary, Michael Cole announced that Oba will decide on whom to challenge at SummerSlam later this year in Minnesota on the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.

With his victory at Night of Champions, Oba became the 25th King of the Ring in WWE.
