Kyle Fletcher Def. Bandido To Retain AEW International Championship At Redemption PPV

The title remains in Kyle Fletcher’s possession.

The first title bout of the night during the AEW Redemption main card was Kyle Fletcher defending the International Championship against ROH World Champion Bandido.

It was Fletcher’s second defense of the belt. There was a spot during the match when Bandido performed a springboard moonsault to the outside, but Fletcher kicked him in the face on his way down.

Fletcher retained the title after hitting Bandido with a brainbuster off the ring ropes in what was a 25-minute bout.

Post-match, Don Callis came out to the ring to celebrate with Fletcher, as everyone was banned from ringside. Fletcher wanted that stipulation in place because he wanted to prove he could get the job done on his own without the Don Callis Family.

‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey is on the horizon for Fletcher as Bailey won a Ladder match at Redemption to earn a shot at the AEW International Championship.
