Kyle Fletcher Thinks His Chemistry With Tommaso Ciampa Will ‘Grow And Fester’ Over Time

Kyle Fletcher looks back on his feud with Tommaso Ciampa.

Back in January, Ciampa made his debut for AEW by defeating Mark Briscoe to win the TNT Championship. Just a few days later, the ‘Psycho Killer’ lost the belt to Kyle Fletcher.

Speaking with Denise Salcedo for a new interview, the ‘Protostar’ talked about his brief encounter with Ciampa and how he is looking forward to their future encounters.

“That was kind of my first — I don’t want to say my first interaction with, but like someone coming fresh off being released from WWE and coming into AEW and me being not their first match, but like one of the first people that they got to work with. It was very much, I hadn’t developed a personal relationship with him yet. I only met him for the first time a few weeks before. You go into it and you’re like, I don’t know what this process is going to be like, I don’t know what this person is going to be like. But, I have only great things to say, I had an absolute blast working with him. He brought out the best in me and I hope I brought out the best in him. That’s all you can ask for. Externally, backstage, all that stuff, you don’t have to get along with people. You don’t have to be friends with people, it’s the product and the end result that matters. I had a great time interacting with him, but I can look at that product and I’m removed from it now, I can say I’m very proud of it. For me, having matches like that just makes me excited to do it again because that chemistry was from the first time of us ever interacting. Since then, we’ve had many conversations and many interactions. I just think that chemistry will grow and fester over time. I can’t wait to do it again.”
