Laredo Kid reflects on his recent WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event appearance where he would face off with Trick Williams for the US Title.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event last month in New York City, the show would have a match on it’s pre-show, with Trick Williams facing off with Laredo Kid in a non-title bout, with Williams earning the victory over the AAA talent in singles competition.

While speaking to SOTO619 in a new interview, Laredo Kid spoke about the match, noting that he feels he deserved the opportunity.

“I feel so good. I don’t believe when they called me for this match, then it’s in the biggest event like Madison Square Garden, and then US champion, Trick Williams, two great things for me. Now, I feel that I deserve it because I work a lot in this business, and now I’m the champion. I feel very, very good and proud for myself, you know?”

The luchador would also discuss potentially making more WWE appearances in the future.

“I hope, I hope. I put some questions on my media socials about who do you want to see me and La Hiedra versus who for the belts. I think it’s for NXT, Raw, SmackDown, it doesn’t matter. We are ready for everything, you know?”

Laredo Kid recently became one half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions alongside La Hiedra. You can read more about that here.
