Many pro wrestlers step into the ring after starting their careers in other sports, and Lash Legend is not an exception to this, as she was previously a basketball player before signing with WWE.

While speaking to Ringside Collectibles at San Diego Comic Con, Lash Legend spoke about moving over from basketball to WWE and her experience at her WWE tryout.

“Like, I think it was very abrupt as well,  I really enjoyed the process of it because I, again, I completely didn’t know exactly what to expect because once I got to my tryout, I was like, ‘oh my gosh, this is nothing like I’ve ever done before.’ I played a million other sports, but wrestling, like getting in that ring, it’s just nothing that you can prepare for until you actually are in it. So I just remember waking up and the first day of my tryout, after the first day, I was so sore. I was like, ‘oh my gosh, I need to get an ice bath.’ Like you would think I wouldn’t train year round, but I do, but it was just something totally new. It was very exciting. I was just a machine. I was like, ‘oh, no, I’m going to get hired here,’ and it happened. So I think what helped me was just having that tenacious attitude on the court, just being really eager to learn, and I feel like all of the things that I learned in my background has helped me over, and I was a bully on the court as well, so now I’m a bully in the ring.”

Elsewhere at SDDC, Ringside Collectibles also spoke with Danhausen. You can read more about that here.
