Layla Diggs Reveals She’s Sidelined With An Arm Injury
Layla Diggs was scheduled to challenge for the NXT Women’s North American Championship on the July 14 episode of WWE NXT.
A day before the event, NXT general manager Robert Stone announced that Diggs was not medically cleared to compete.
On Tuesday night, Diggs revealed that she’s dealing with an arm injury, posting a photo of herself in a sling. She captioned the photo, “I’ll be back and I’ll be champion. Thank you guys for all the love.”

Zaria ended up successfully defending the NXT Women’s North American title against Izzi Dame, Lizzy Dame, and Nikkita Lyons.
Diggs earned her shot by winning a four-way bout against Lizzy Rain, Izzi Dame, and Thea Hail last Tuesday on NXT.
She faced Zaria at a live event on July 11.
