Leon Slater Says He Would Love To Compete In TNA’s Six-Sided Ring As TNA World Champion

Leon Slater says he’d love to compete in a six-sided ring in TNA.
When TNA first made its debut, they didn’t use the traditional four-sided ring but rather a six-sided wrestling ring, which was used until 2010. They later brought it back in 2014 but ultimately retired it again in 2018.
Speaking on the I Love Wrestling Podcast, Leon Slater was asked about his reaction to the announcement of TNA Destination X returning this year. Slater said that he was praying that the six-sided ring would make a comeback again.
“I was just praying that the six-sided ring would come back, to be real. I don’t know if it is, I don’t know if it isn’t, but man, I hope it does. Because I’m sure, growing up a TNA fan, that’s what we loved, right? So to get the chance to compete in a six-sided ring, as much as people said it sucked back in the day, it’s like way harder; it hurts way more than a four-sided ring, and that hurts enough. I would love the chance to be TNA World Champion and wrestle in a TNA six-sided ring.
Elsewhere in the interview, Slater talked about his Option C promo at TNA Lockdown. Fans can read his full comments here.
