Leon Slater vs. Trey Miguel For TNA World Title Made Official For Destination X
Leon versus Trey for the gold.
The main event of the post-Bound For Glory edition of TNA Wrestling Thursday Night iMPACT was a five-way Ladder match to determine who would challenge Leon Slater for the TNA World Championship at Destination X.
Below were the participants in the match:
- Elijah
- Jason Hotch
- Ricky Sosa
- Trey Miguel
- Moose
As the bout was ongoing, new TNA International Champion Jason Hotch began to make the climb. The former International Champion Mustafa Ali showed up, and he and Hotch brawled to the backstage area.
While Elijah was making his way up the ladder, former TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth showed up to stop him. Nemeth had been complaining about not getting his contractually obligated rematch against Slater, so he started climbing the ladder, although he was not in the match.
Trey Miguel ended up taking Nemeth out and then retrieving the contract. Below is the current card for Destination X on November 15th in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada:
- TNA World Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. Trey Miguel
