Lince Dorado Replacing Dragon Lee In Latin American Title Match Qualifier, More Set For AAA Verano de Escándalo Week Two

Lince Dorado is stepping in for Dragon Lee.

The AAA Latin American Championship had to be vacated because the champion, El Hijo del Vikingo, underwent knee surgery.

It was decided that a new champion is going to be crowned at Triplemanía 34 in September in a four-way match. The four talents in the bout are being decided via Triple Threat qualifiers. One of those matches was supposed to take place during week one of Verano de Escándalo, and it was going to feature Dragon Lee.

Lee would take to social media to share that he suffered a collateral ligament tear in his thumb and would not be able to compete. The qualifier is now taking place during week two of Verano de Escándalo on August 1st, and it’ll feature Mecha Wolf, La Parka, and filling in for Lee will be Lince Dorado.
