Ludwig Kaiser’s Motion To Dismiss Battery Case Denied

Court records show that the motion filed by Ludwig Kaiser to dismiss his battery case has been denied.

The hearing took place on Monday, October 19.

Kaiser’s defense sought to have the misdemeanor battery charge dismissed under Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law. The argument was that Kaiser was justified in using the amount of force he used against the alleged victim because he reasonably believed it was necessary to protect himself and his girlfriend, Andre Bazarte, from “imminent use of unlawful force.”

A pre-trial conference is scheduled for December 17.

Ludwig Kaiser was arrested in May on a battery charge stemming from an incident in April where he allegedly punched a man in an elevator.

Kaiser, who portrays El Grande Americano on WWE TV, has continued to wrestle as the case is ongoing.
