Mark Davis comments on his partnership with Jake Doyle and where it can go in the future if AEW chooses to pursue it.

On the May 27th edition of AEW Dynamite, Doyle would return to AEW television after suffering a bicep tear that would take him out of action for a substantial amount of time. In the bout that Doyle would suffer the injury, he and Mark Davis would challenge for the AEW World Tag Team titles, but had their partnership ended early thanks to the injury.

While speaking to The Wrestling Classic in a new interview, Mark Davis spoke about his burgeoning partnership with Jake Doyle.

“I think there’s an avenue to take that wherever we want to. Like we can, you know, anything that we want to accomplish together. I think that we’d be able to like, do so. It’s just about timing, isn’t it? Sometimes in this business and things will fall into place in ways that you don’t expect them to at times that you don’t expect them to. So who knows what the future will hold? But obviously Doyle in the Don Callis Family back healthy, looking strong, looking great, took Andrade to his limits, and yeah, I’m looking forward. Hopefully we can get back in there together.”

In a recent interview with Fightful, Mark also spoke about Kyle Fletcher’s decision to go bald. You can read more about that here.
