Mason Rook: My Size And Uniqueness Got Me Here, I’d Like To Think It’s What Will Keep Me Here
Mason Rook (Will Kroos) made a quick impact in WWE NXT in April, attacking then NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo.
Rook stood out with his unique size and athleticism, though his size and look has now drawn criticism from fans who have taken more notice of him.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Rook was asked if he’s thought about changing his look or getting in better shape like Bronson Reed recently has.
“I think it’s all individual and specific to the person. However, obviously, my size, look and uniqueness is what got me to the dance. Now that I’m at the dance, I don’t know if that will be enough to keep me at the dance. I see superstars who arrived at NXT or WWE a certain way, and they’ve had a transition period. Everyone is different. Would I like to say that I’d like to lose a few pounds? Of course. I’m not in denial about that, but again, my uniqueness and size is what got me here, and I’d like to think it’s what is going to keep me here, too,” he said.
Rook will soon challenge Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship after winning a three-way match against D’Angelo and Saquon Shugars.
