Match Card Revealed For NJPW Show At Airport
New Japan action at an airport.
Back in July 2026, it was confirmed that New Japan Pro-Wrestling would be presenting live in-ring action in the middle of New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido.
2026 marks 100 years since the first airplane landing in the city of Chitose. Hokkaido Airlines planned a series of 100th anniversary events that are based on ideas submitted by employees, and a wrestling event at the airport was one of the ideas.
New Japan will present three matches at ‘Take Off’ on September 18th:
- Togi Makabe, Toru Yano & Masatora Yasuda vs. Unbound Co. (Yuto-Ice, OSKAR & Daiki Nagai)
- Aaron Wolf, Yuya Uemura & Taichi vs. T.M.D.K. (Ryohei Oiwa, Hartley Jackson & Kosei Fujita)
- Hirooki Goto, YOH, Hirooki Goto & Tatsuya Matsumoto vs. Unbound Co. (Yota Tsuji, Taiji Ishimori, Shingo Takagi & Robbie X)
