Matt Cardona Recalls Conversation Where Chelsea Green Forgot He Hadn’t Won The WWE Championship Yet

Matt Cardona recalls how Chelsea Green forgot that he has yet to win the WWE Championship in his career so far.

Since making his return to WWE, Cardona has made his goal of becoming WWE Champion very clear in interviews, promos and social media posts. However, in a recent conversation with his wife and current WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green, she would end up forgetting that he hadn’t already won it.

While speaking to NotSam Wrestling in a recent interview, Matt Cardona shared how Chelsea was recently surprised by the fact he had not yet won the WWE title.

“I don’t know if she’s ever seen a lot (of ladder matches). Besides the Money In The Bank he was in. I don’t even think she saw the ladder match I was in. Last night we were driving, it was like a long drive from SmackDown, and I was, I don’t know, we were just talking, and she told me, she’s like, ‘wait. you were never the WWE Champion?’ I’m like, what? What are you talking about? Yeah, I’m like, ‘come on, you know I was never the WWE Champion. But it means she clearly doesn’t listen to any interview I do.
