Earlier this Summer, it was reported by Fightful Select that Sheamus would be exiting WWE once his WWE contract expires later this year. Now, a former opponent has put over ‘The Celtic Warrior’s’ style.
While speaking to The Sportster’s Adam Barnard in a new interview, Matt Cardona was asked about the strongest opponent he’s faced off with in the ring, with the former WWE US Champion naming Sheamus before explaining that he loved their matches due to them beating the crap out of each other.
“Oh, man. Sheamus would always beat the crap out of me, but I love beating the crap out of him, too. So I always loved his style. You know, he brings it, and so do I. Ask anyone who wrestles Matt Cardona. Ask The Miz. He’ll tell you.”
