Matt Hardy Reacts To Brock Lesnar’s Retirement, Thinks ‘It’s Pretty Legit’

Matt Hardy reacts to Brock Lesnar retiring from pro-wrestling.

At WWE SummerSlam, Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match. After the match, Lesnar praised Oba verbally in front of the audience.

He later announced his retirement on The Pat McAfee Show as well.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy reacted to Brock Lesnar’s retirement.

“The fact that he went on Pat McAfee and made a big deal out of it and said that specifically, it seemed like he was, especially the way he really went out of his way to put over Oba. At the end, he said, like, ‘I’m the past. This is the future.’ He busted his ass to give him the best match he possibly can. So, yeah, it seems like it’s pretty legit. But, I mean, who knows, man? Never say never. Pro wrestling with his money does talk at the end of the day.”

In another edition of the podcast, Hardy defended supernatural gimmicks in pro-wrestling. Fans can read his full comments here.
