Matt Hardy Says Carlos Silva Has Done A Great Job Of Digging TNA Out Of A Hole

Anthem Wrestling hired Carlos Silva to run TNA Wrestling in December 2024. Since then the company has shown growth in multiple areas, including landing a television deal on AMC.
While not everything has been perfect, and fans still have criticisms over creative, Matt Hardy believes that Silva has done a great job in digging TNA out of a hole.
“Carlos was hired for this position to 1) dig TNA out of debt, 2) streamline company cost & expenses, 3) get the company on a bigger TV platform & 4) get to the point where TNA is becoming profitable. He’s been working tirelessly & every one of these tasks are challenging. Carlos is getting things done & succeeding on all these goals. The core group at TNA is gonna keep doing what we do – Work hard, grind away and make TNA as great as it can be,” he wrote on social media.

On his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy commented, “Even when Carlos came in with TNA, TNA was pretty in the hole, you know what I mean, whenever Carlos started. So he’s been trying to, you know, dig out of that, and he has done a great job of digging out of it. There have been many sacrifices he’s had to make to try and make the company, you know, turn it into a profitable deal, and that’s kind of the process. It’s a really strange thing, and it doesn’t necessarily vibe with wrestling fans, and it probably even feels more strange because we are on a big platform, AMC, right?
“I think he’s doing things the best that he can do them with his limited knowledge of pro wrestling in some ways, if I can say it, but he does have a pretty good support team around him, and I think that’s getting ready to grow even a little more.”
The Hardys are set to challenge for the TNA Tag Team Titles in a ladder match against The Righteous and The System at TNA Slammiversary.
