Mayu Iwatani Shares That She Will Not Need Surgery For Fractures In Big Toe

Mayu Iwatani shared a video of herself moving around swiftly to show that she’s healing.
Mayu Iwatani has been out of action due to suffering two fractures in her big toe. The injury led to her having to relinquish the GHC Women’s Championship.
Iwatani provided an update on the injury and noted that her bones are starting to heal and she will not need surgery. She followed up by posting a video of her swiftly tiptoeing around and running up a flight of stairs to show she is healing.

Iwatani is with Rossy Ogawa’s Dream Star Fighting Marigold promotion and is the current Marigold Superfly Champion. She’s been in possession of the title since May 2025.
As for the GHC Women’s Championship, a new champion is going to be crowned at the WRESTLE MAGIC event in June.
