Mike Perry: Let Me Fight CM Punk. I’ll Fight CM Punk In The UFC

Mike Perry is calling out CM Punk.

Mike Perry has done well for himself since leaving the UFC in 2021, finding success in bare-knuckle fighting with BKFC and defeating Nate Diaz at MVP MMA 1 on Netflix. Perry has also boxed against Jake Paul, losing by TKO in the sixth round.

Appearing on the Ariel Helwani Show, Perry was looking to call out a big celebrity, and initially landed on Tom Brady before turning his attention to the Undisputed WWE Champion.

“Let me fight CM Punk. UFC, bring me back. I’ll fight CM Punk in the UFC,” said Perry.

Asked if the UFC called Perry after he defeated Nate Diaz, Perry said he heard there were conversations, but it was going to come down to money.

Punk does have two UFC fights under his belt, losing by submission to Mickey Gall in 2016 and by unanimous decision to Mike Jackson in 2018. That fight was overturned to a no contest after Jackson failed a drug test for THC.

Punk will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship at Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam. Perry is scheduled to fight Dillon Danis next.
